Willow Fork Drainage District Central Green has been the site of six CD Release Parties and launched the professional careers of six Katy ISD students. Parks General Manager, Yvonne Arceneaux, says; “It’s important to introduce these talented performers to the public and give them an opportunity to launch their careers. This is a break many people dream of and never get the chance to see if they could have made it in the entertainment business. We opened the Talent Showcase to two age groups so the stay home mom who still dreams of taking the stage or the oil worker who always wondered if he could have made it and the child or teenager full of ambition hoping for a shot at stardom can finally showcase their talents.”
