Drainage

Willow Fork Drainage District’s (WFDD or the “District”) complete drainage system serves more than 11,000 residential and commercial properties with an approximate population of more than 30,000 people. WFDD is responsible for maintaining all the channels within its boundaries, except for the main branch of Willow Fork in Buffalo Bayou from Falcon Landing Blvd. to the Fort Bend and Harris County line, which is maintained by Fort Bend County Drainage District.

With the assistance of consultants, WFDD works closely with local Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs), Homeowner Associations (HOAs), the Fort Bend County Drainage District, Harris County Flood Control District, and the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) to create a more resilient community.
